After 25 years in sales and manufacturing leadership for three companies in six different states, David left corporate America to form a small private equity company with four other Massachusetts-based investors. Potentia Holdings, LLC was formed in early 2016 to identify, acquire and operate “end of generational” life manufacturing firms in MA and NH – these are smaller (under $10M) firms run by quality individuals without succession plans and without new leadership would likely cease to operate and further erode the local manufacturing base. To date, the firm has acquired and grown four firms in Essex and Plymouth counties. David is also an active investor in several real estate projects and co-founder of Moby Dick Brewing Company in New Bedford, the first brewing operation in New Bedford since the mid-1970s.
David holds a dual bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Computer Information Systems from Ferris State University, Big Rapids, MI, and an MBA from Syracuse University.
